The amazing, siren call of solitude

Source: Heimarts

A warm breeze.

Chirping birds,

The world is quiet and I am in it.

…………………………………………………………….

No sound of noisy automobiles.

No unwanted fumes with their pollution.

No shouts of children playing, concerned mothers, irritated fathers, irate spouses,

Gives a feeling of no responsibility.

The lake is calm and denotes peace,

The world is quiet and I am in it.

……………………………………………………………..

I could fly like an eagle and leave it all behind.

But can I really do so?

Can problems be forgotten?

Am I not in chains, burdened by responsibilities?

Is the world indeed quiet? And am I in it?

………………………………………………………………

Solitude beckons,

Like a siren.

Come, fly with me.

To a place of calm,

Where there is no pain or sorrow,

The world is quiet and I am in it.

Yes indeed! Sometimes, there is just too much noise around us. When that happens, you can not even hear your own thoughts. Solitude provides a calm respite from it all.

This is such a beautiful reflection. If only our present reality could be this way all the time – no dangers in society, no problems.

Just us sitting back to relax taking in fresh air, enjoying calm, peace, and continuous universal harmony.🌷🕊
