Wonder Not (A Parent’s Psalm to Child)

1. Wonder not, my Child,

I’ve longed to see your early morning smiles each day;

To behold the growth of the two lower floor soldiers and the three upper floor warriors in white uniform;

They produce unique sounds of joyous triumph as you smile, cry, giggle;

2. Wonder not, my Seed of Might,

Your eyes glitter with amazing destiny,

And your forehead beckons hope as your ears hear good tidings;

Might will not escape your torso as your legs are unctioned for progress;

On, and on, and on, and on;

3. Wonder not, my Creative Seed,

Your clarion calls for twilight soldier’s walk, may it reduce on my plea;

Today’s acrobatic prologue in the wee hours of the morning jolted me;

Indeed, it was as if you knew I was on vacation, well, I am;

I perceive you are dogged to recoup you lost playing moments, may you soften your stands;

And may you count it jolly if you eat with less gymnastics, on my plea;

For this is a noble task for growth and pedal walk;

4. Wonder not, my Answered Call,

We have a whole new two seasons to play,

Adventures are scheduled in purpose,

Child-likeness is packaged with myriads of creativity;

May I find what works best for us often,

And we shall echoe praise Adonai always;

Wonder not, J-Bold.
