A Bite of Heaven

1. The mortal body albeit operative yet in Tent abided;

Encased in mighty surges of wills and emotions, the body’s anchor is in-housed;

The mind seeks to liberate this body from the soul, a lot endeavoured it in failure;

Oh that Light might cut through this complexity of self, yet where is Light?

2. Might wielded the sword of discipline, but showcased limitation;

Knowledge promised a yokeless soul, and it only puffed self bodily;

Essence limped before expectation but suddenly crawled in despair;

Oh that Light might fly with the wings of clemency to this soul;

3. Arrayed from heaven, alas, the heart curtains in newness, and thereby seated the longing;

Its every blink of message paged out hope, and amended the soul and revamped the body;

Doubtlessly, this Bite of Heaven is an eternal change.
