My Mom calls me JOO;
My Granny calls me Jeddy;
And I enjoy the sounds of my names;

*2* . Had I informed you earlier,
My fullest self would captivate your sight;
For I am fashioned awesomely in glory;
A joy to my parents and panacea to all;
Observe my undeniable growth;
And despise not my boyhood days;

*3.* This journey is a life chart;
And this chart must be fruitful;
Wisdom has entered my heart;
And knowledge is pleasant to my soul;
Growth of stature is subtly manifested outwardly;

*4* . From lying down to stretching;
At the outset of rolling, crawling to standing;
With the audacity of walking to lifting up my torso;
Discretion protects me in manifolds paths;
And understanding guards and guides me;

*5.* For ways of living life, parenting, mentoring and direction are my awareness;
Skilfully I engage my demand services with cooing;
Ignoring this sincere milk of the Word is impermissible;
And for living on the nourishing sap, I grow thereby;

*6* . With unflappability shall I walk in the ways of good men;
Indubitably shall I tread the paths of the righteous;
Unseating the seat of mockers; and
Cogitating precious words daily;
And my lips shall speak gracious words;

*7.* His purpose is my service;
His mandate is my heartbeat;
His pleasure is my lifeline;
His vision is my world view;
And His testimony is my message;
For I am Jed – the beloved of the LORD.
