- Yesterday was the day that I was so grateful,
And today will I be soo much more grateful,
Tomorrow will be the day I would be grateful,
Forever in the debts of Your Thanksgiving,
Because You have been the victory that my heart knows,
The themes of these thoughts are the gratitude I have –
Toward You my LORD, the King, and Glorious One,
2. The Chorus knows how to repeat after the soul,
This Champion of my hopes is the Faith of my life,
This Lifter of my head, is the Trophy of my heart,
These treasures beyond are incomparable to Him,
And the beauty of the realms is forever lighted by You,
The presence of His Majesty, is the courting of His Saints,
Oh this God is my God, and the LORD of all creation,
His name is JESUS, the Messiah from Nazareth,
From heaven to the earth and ascended after resurrection,
He is the same today and forever will be.
3. Spirits of the Saints daily long for His koinonia,
For His Parousia, He is coming again,
JESUS our LORD, King of all kings,
Soul time beseechs You, for You are Our Dear Salvation,
No guess remains, but the surety of Your coming
Earth, join this heavenly train, believing, confessing JESUS,
For Your soul He died, for He bought the whole field, and
He loves you that much to make this Call again-today.
