1. They exclaimed, oh yes that is our end;
But we kept moving;
And they despised us,
And even concluded on our matter;
Aha, they thought we were dying, even dead and buried;
They rejoiced and kept rejoicing against hope;
2. Masses of deceived mob joined our enemies;
Yes, to laugh at us;
Some cried with deceitful hearts;
Danced with our critics and Our haters wished the worst for us;
3. But we were poised,
We were dogged, determined, focused;
And we clothed our hope with diligence, praying; and Cushioned our waiting with patient endurance;

4. Yeah, finally we won;
The naysayers metamorphosed into Aye cheer leaders;
They began to applaud,
They wanted autographs,
Some even requested for selfies beggarly;
But we do not forget the wisdom of our instinct;
Neither must the discretion of insight elude us;
5. Fake world,
Fake people,
Fake smiles,
Faking everything;
Yet , “Nyame nkoa ne yen anidasoɔ”,
God our Hope.
